Imagine a day when brokenness, heartbreak, and suffering no longer exist!

In Revelation 21, the Apostle John receives a breathless vision of our true home: a new heaven and a new earth, anchored by the Holy City, the New Jerusalem, descending from God like a bride adorned for her husband. Its foundations gleam with precious stones, its gates shine like pearls, and its streets overflow with pure, brilliant light. Yet, the greatest wonder of this city is not its gold or its breathtaking scale—it is who dwells within it.

In this message, Pastor Ted unpacks John’s breathtaking vision of the New Jerusalem—a powerful reminder of the ultimate hope awaiting every believer in Jesus Christ.

Walking through Revelation 21, Pastor Ted paints a vivid picture of a city built by the hands of God: walls gleaming like jasper, gates crafted from single pearls, and streets of pure gold. Yet, as he highlights, the true beauty of the New Jerusalem isn't found in its magnificent gems or its vast scale, but in the intimate presence of God Himself.

He shows us that in this new creation, the distance between God and humanity is closed forever. God will dwell directly among His people, tenderly wiping away every tear and erasing death, mourning, and pain for good. Through the cross, Jesus tore down every dividing wall to unite people from all walks of life into one redeemed family, built on the eternal foundation of His grace.

Ultimately, our abiding challenge is to let this promise transform how we live today. Knowing the glorious future God has prepared isn't just a comfort for tomorrow—it is our motivation right now to go into our communities, share the love of Christ, and point a world without hope to the savior who makes all things new.

"Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. He will wipe every tear from their eyes." — Revelation 21:3-4a
